課程概述 |
A comprehensive introduction to plant diseases in tropical and subtropical areas is provided. The knowledge on plant responses to pathogen attack and the mode of attack are presented for a better understanding of plant-pathogen interactions. In addition, field trip is organized for practical exercises to learn more about plant diseases in Taiwan. | |

課程目標 |
Plant diseases are major constraints to world agricultural production. To study the origins and consequences of plant diseases, the biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, and ecology of the causal agents, and the plant disease management strategies are the aims of this course. Mainly for the students who have microbiology concepts but lack of the knowledge of Plant Pathology. | |
